2018 Highlights

Dance continues to be a legacy and the future in Osage County.  Fairfax saw the addition of a wooden sculpture in honor of the Tallchief sisters in 2018.  We saw the development and release of a tourism app for the Osage that puts everything at the fingertips of tourists.  Even Jimmy Don from HGTV's Fixer Upper TV show now has the Visit the Osage app on his phone following a networking visit between the Waco Convention & Visitor's Bureau and Visit the Osage!  The Tulsa Botanic Gardens and Woolaroc both have their "Sunday britches" on in honor of Christmas.  We also have a commercial in the making presently.  Plans are to use this piece of media at conferences and marketing roadshows as a tool to highlight Osage County's attributes and create a desire in its viewers to come for a visit. Tour buses continue to roll into the Osage and Fam Tours from Europe, and even Australia have come calling.   Hospitality is our calling card, and the smiles are always free!
